What is kitesurfing?
Kitesurfing is a water sport where you stand on a board and are pulled along by a large controllable kite. The sport combines elements of surfing, sailing and wakeboarding, and it lets you enjoy speed, manoeuvres and jumps – depending on your level and the wind conditions. In Denmark, kitesurfing is especially popular on the west coast, where the wind often provides optimal conditions.
Take a kitesurfing course with professional instructors
Dreaming of learning kitesurfing from scratch? With us, you can take a kitesurfing course run according to VDWS guidelines. We offer a beginner course in Jutland, where you train with experienced instructors who guide you through techniques, equipment and safety. The course runs over seven days, and all necessary equipment is provided.

How much does kitesurfing cost?
The price of kitesurfing depends on whether you’re staying on site. If you stay overnight at Thorsminde Camping, access to the fjord is included, while day visitors can buy access for DKK 75.
